February 6-8th Kennedy Park (Yuma) Schedule

Our second event of the 2026 season brings us to Yuma's Kenedy Memorial Park , where the YYHL and Yuma Blaze have been hard at work preparing to host another weekend of great roller hockey and even better BBQ! We'd also like to wish a warm welcom to the Temecula Warriors program who have entered a 10U, 12U, and 14U team for this event!

Like all events we have in the middle of the peak of ice hockey season, this was another tightrope to walk getting everyone game slots they can make with the longer drive. Thanks as always for being understanding of not always ideal game times or gaps between games, in those cases, just know it had to be done to have enough teams in the division to hold it.

Below is a note from our host at YYHL and Yuma Blaze concerning campers/RV's, parking,Hotels deals and other important info. Please take a moment to read:

The Kennedy Skate Rink has recently been updated and we are excited to welcome you!

Currently there are renovations being made to the Kennedy Skate Park facility which will effect

parking. We invite our guests to please use the overflow parking that is located on the grass

behind the volleyball courts. Please use caution when driving in the parking lot and be aware of

all pedestrians.

Overnight camp parking is available, with no hook ups, the fee is $25 per night. Interested

parties need to call the City of Yuma Parks and Rec Department (928) 373-5200 by 4:00 p.m.

on Friday, February 6, 2026. When calling, please advise that you are associated with the

IHAAZ hockey tournament. They will need the make, model and vehicle operator information. If

you wish to consume alcoholic beverages, as the rink is still at a city park, you will need a

separate permit.

We are pleased to announce that the Hampton Inn & Suites Yuma is happy to provide

discounted block rooms for IHAAZ teams. If you or your team are requiring overnight

accommodations, they are happy to work with team managers. You can reach them at (928)

We will be hosting our annual Bob Letendre Memorial BBQ throughout the tournament

weekend. BBQ plates will be available for $15 and our snack bar will be available throughout

the tournament serving hot dogs, burgers, burritos, nachos, drinks and snacks. We are also

happy to help you with your Super Bowl party needs, whole tri-tip roasts will be available for

pre-purchase. Roasts will be $45, reserve yours today by clicking on the LINK!
